D-Restricted Ltd ®
About Me:

My journey in care began before my nurse training in 2002, working with vulnerable adults and children. After qualifying as a nurse, I went on to work in adult services and later as a Neonatal Nurse until December 2017, caring for sick and terminally ill term and pre-term babies. I now specialise in tongue-tie assessment, division, and infant feeding support across Warwickshire and Derbyshire, alongside raising my own two children.

I am a qualified IBCLC Lactation Consultant and Infant Feeding Specialist (LEAARC), with additional training in baby massage, baby yoga, and toddler yoga. These approaches support families in managing symptoms often associated with tongue-tie restrictions, while strengthening the parent–infant bond. I have also undertaken oral myofunctional training to further support oral function and development.

My passion for this field is deeply personal. My first daughter was born with a posterior tongue-tie, and my own breastfeeding journey highlighted the lack of awareness and timely support available to families. This experience, followed by my second daughter also having a tongue-tie, has shaped my commitment to ensuring parents receive clear, informed, and compassionate care.

I provide clinics in both Warwickshire and Derbyshire in a calm, supportive setting, and have developed a dedicated Support Portal offering structured aftercare, exercises, and evidence-based resources. I also provide online training for healthcare professionals and run face-to-face infant feeding support groups open to all families.

In addition, I am an active trustee for the UK Association of Tongue-tie Practitioners (ATP) charity, where I serve as Website Co-Ordinator and was awarded Honorary Status in 2023 in recognition of my contribution.

All professional registrations are verifiable, and many certificates are displayed within the clinic. In June 2026, my service was awarded an Outstanding rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), recognising the high standard of care provided to families.
