Finding out about breastfeeding before your baby is born can be a huge help in getting your breastfeeding journey off to a good start. Are you expecting a baby? Have you breastfed before, but would like a little more information this time? How can your personal support network help you? D-Restricted: Online Courses, presents to you an antenatal breastfeeding course, which will give you the opportunity to learn about breast-milk production, the positive impact of skin2skin, and learn optimal breastfeeding positions in an informative presentation whilst in the comfort of your own home.
This course is in preparation for starting your little one onto solids at around 6 months old. This can be both an exciting and anxious time. This course displays videos on what to do if your little one is choking, some basics surrounding allergies and discusses the benefits of the different methods of how to wean. The course is approximately a one hour snapshot presentation which includes films and discussion through an online course. The presentation link will be sent to your email address and also in the ‘Thank you page’ at the check out.
This is a tongue-tie information resource for general use for those who support parents and caregivers with infant feeding, such as peer supporters and is for general information purposes only (nb this course will NOT teach you to diagnose and will NOT teach the frenulotomy procedure itself.). The course houses videos on recognising some common symptoms of a tongue tie, and discusses a frenulotomy procedure (tongue tie division) using scissors. It looks at the risks of the procedure, and the benefits too whilst acknowledging and addressing common misconceptions. The course is approximately a one hour snapshot presentation which includes films and discussion through an online course. The presentation link will be sent to your email address and also in the ‘Thank you page’ at the check out.
