Booking Your Appointment
Appointments are now held in two stages to try to reduce the risk of contact and cross contamination during the COVID-19 crisis.
Online 'Zoom' video call or Telephone call
This is the online consultation appointment. This can be done as a telephone or 'Zoom' consultation-do NOT arrive at the clinic for this. This is bookable ONLINE and you pay for both 'Appointment 1&2' at the time of the online booking. It covers medical, birthing and feeding history & current feeding symptoms and is expected to last 45-60 minutes. Should a physical tongue function assessment be considered beneficial with view to division, this will be done at 'Appointment 2'. This will be arranged with you during 'Appointment 1'.
Consent, aftercare and risks for a potential division are discussed. You are unable to book your date of division without prior discussion with me as I will need to 'triage' your individual case to limit unnecessary exposure. Should your little one need a frenulotomy (tongue-tie division), I will provide you with potential dates/times for you to choose and then book this on your behalf whilst talking to you on the phone (with email confirmation). Home Visits are not currently available.
PLEASE make it clear on your booking if you would like me to arrange a Zoom consultation or if you would prefer a telephone call, as the appointment system automatically generates/assumes Zoom.
CLINIC LOCATION: WARWICKSHIRE/LEICESTERSHIRE BORDER (CV13 0HX)
This is the assessment and potential division of a tongue-tie. Only the mother and baby may attend inside the clinic, again this is to reduce exposure and cross-contamination, and social distancing measures will be adhered to. A supporting partner/adult may wait outside of the clinic preferably in the car, there is a large recreational area close to the clinic if preferred. Please wait in your vehicle until I call you through (phone) or you see me at the door, so that you are not at additional risk by touching door handles or in close proximity of other clients. On arrival, I will meet you at the door wearing full PPE and you will be provided use of handgel, you will also be provided with one disposable mask for use during this appointment. Government guidance recommends that all patients attending health clinics/venues must wear a mask or face covering for the duration of the whole appointment from 15/06/2020. Please bring a blanket/towel, the Red Health Book and a muslin square/bib (& milk if bottle feeding). Please dress your little one in something light such as a babygrow that incorporates foldover hand-mitts are ideal. This appointment is expected to last upto 30 minutes.
The £180.00 fee includes weekly follow-up communications for as long as you wish
(via text message only. face:face follow-up may incur a charge.)
My aim is that those who have 'Appointment 1' in a morning slot, will be offered 'Appointment 2' the same afternoon (although this cannot be set in stone as it may not be convenient for some).
UPFRONT FEES=£180.00 paid online at point of booking Appointment 1, and is for both appointments combined:-
£80.00 (£30.00 of which is booking fee and is non-refundable should you cancel this appointment as per cancellation policy below)
Should 'Appointment 2' not be required/necessary then I will refund £70.00 fee, the remaining £30.00 is for further 'infant feeding' support whilst in attendance at my clinic (Upfront payment is to reduce contact/exposure to eachother).

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Sometimes, unavoidable things happen which may mean you would need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, and I understand this.
Should you wish to cancel your appointment at any point, please do so at your earliest convenience. I usually have more than one last minute emergency referral that commonly need to make an urgent appointment; who may appreciate an earlier time slot should one become available. Unfortunately I am unable to refund your initial deposit, unless you were to reschedule this, then can then be transferred, unless less than 4 hours notice is given, in which case your deposit is lost. For each appointment, £30.00 of the cost is the non-refundable booking fee.
If you are running late for your appointment, please call me to discuss, as if you are estimated to arrive 10 minutes later than the scheduled time you may miss your appointment and loose your deposit, please ring me to confirm.
Should I need to cancel I will do so as early as possible and I will do my very best to rearrange your appointment with minimal delay, or refund your deposit so you have the option to choose an alternative provider if necessary.
For Parents who have had a division from an alternative practitioner; in the first instance you are encouraged to discuss your concerns with your original practitioner. Should this not be possible, please contact me directly to discuss your care needs 07910608179.
Tongue Tie Division Appointments

A Home Visit is charged with mileage at 50p per mile (round trip)within 40 mile radius. (calculated from
CV13 0HX using http://www.theaa.com/route-planner/index.jsp as the guidance tool). Appointment times for home visits are a guide only, I will do my very best to stick to these times but I must allow for unexpected traffic and travel issues.
For appointments outside of this range please contact me to discuss via 07910608179 so I can cater for travelling time adjustments.
The total cost also includes weekly follow-up communications until you have met your feeding goals. (face to face appointments would incur a charge).
